Welcome To Our New Look

We are thrilled to announce the re-branding of CME Credit Union. We hope you agree, the new look is bold, dynamic and distinctive, however it also holds true to our rich and stoic tradition of serving the City of Cranston and its School Employees.  With it, the awesome banking service and experience we provided members will move us forward as we proudly serve the greater Rhode Island Community. 

 

The new design is the result of a contest held with Cranston High School students. The winning design was created by Aden Thorp, a Senior and Honors Student at Cranston High School West.  Her design moves our brand/logo to a modern look, symbolizing our past, present and future. As Aden describes it, “the three circles repre­sent timelessness, totality and infinity while giving hope to the possibilities members look for in life. The overlapping circles embodies inclusion in our Credit Union cooperative, providing equal opportunities for everyone who can now be part of the CME CU family”.

 

Our new logo is progressive, compelling and unique to our market, visually reflecting our values, culture, and the experience CME Credit Union strives to deliver. It is also a reflection of the Purpose and Mission we have been driven by since we were founded in 1947:

What to Expect

Throughout July, we will be refreshing every touch point that you have with CME CU. The most updates will take place on our Website, Facebook and Instagram pages. Here are a few of the most visited ones for you to watch for and we make these updates:

• MONTHLY STATEMENTS – This months' statement has been updated with our new logo and corporate colors.  We hope you love it as much as we do!
• CME CU WEBSITE - It will be resigned with our new colors and an eye for easy access, as well as an new URL: www.cmecreditunion.org. 
• EMAIL ADDRESSES - Team member e-mail addresses will be updated with the cmecreditunion.org address. No need to worry if the current e-mail address is in your address book. Team members will receive your email regardless of the one you use.
• ONLINE & MOBILE BANKING - It will feature our new color theme and will be refined for easy access, including use of Smart Phone Apps Bill Pay and Zelle
• DEBIT CARDS - New cards have been designed and members will receive a new cards as other old one expire or when or reissued.

We are excited to travel the road ahead while at the same time never losing sight of where we have been. Wherever the future takes us, one thing you can count on is CME CU is the only place “Where Your Story Matters”.
