2025 Board of Directors Nominations

The Nominating Committee seeks candidates who are interested in serving as a Director on CME Credit Union's (CME CU) Board of Directors. Directors of CME CU bring to the Board a broad range of knowledge and depth of experience from their chosen business or profession, as well as an understanding of the principles and values of CME Credit Union and the communities we serves.

Member interested in becoming a Director should email the following information to Joseph Balducci, Chair of the Nominating Committee at jbalducci@cpsed.net no later than Friday, April 11, 2025.

Directors are required to always act in the best interests of our members and the Credit Union.  The role of a Director is, through principal-based governance, establish the strategic direction of the Credit Union and oversee the sound and prudent control of its operations.  They possess integrity, are willing to articulate their views, work productively with others, and have the ability and willingness to commit the time and effort required to fulfill their responsibilities.

Eligibility Requirements (Board Policy)

Members interested in becoming a Director, who meet all of the following requirements, are encourages to complete the Board of Directors Application and email it along with their resume to the Chair of the Nominating Committee (noted above) by April 11, 2025. Requirements include:

  • Be a current CME CU member in good standing for the previous 24 months
  • Be eighteen (18) years of age, or older, by the date of their first meeting
  • Willing, to the best of their ability, fulfill the term they are elected or appointed to
  • Have not been convicted of a crime involving dishonesty or breach of trust
  • Have the ability to comply with all appropriate Board process, policies and commitments
  • Have no conflict of interest where relationships/interests could compromise judgment, decisions, or actions
  • Is accepted as a bondable individual by CME CU’s bonding company
  • Have not been removed as a director, officer, or employee of a financial institution by a federal or state regulator 
  • Maintains their personal and business financial affairs in a sound and prudent manner.
