While our name remains unchanged, the re-branding ensures that our organization's distinctiveness and reputation has a broader appeal to the market we serve. This modernization presents an opportunity for CME CU to maintain a relevant presence within the community and attract new members effectively.
The initial reveal of our new brand will happen in late July. The process of re-branding will continue throughout the year. Initially we will be re-branding all of our touch-points starting with our statements, website, digital & mobile banking, branch signage, and more.
No. The re-branding will not alter the essence of CME CU, rather, it enhances our identity, integrates us into the community we serve and furthers our motto of "Where Your Story Matters" to all of Rhode Island.
Yes. The new Website address will be www.cmecreditunion.org. However, if you bookmarked our current website address, you will be automatically redirected to the new one. You may want to re-save the new Website address once it goes live.
Yes. Your CME CU debit card will not be affected by the re-brand. You may continue to use your debit card just as you do today. When your cared is ready or re-issue, you will receive a newly designed card.
Yes. Your CME CU checks that have the old logo will not be affected by the re-brand. You may continue to use your checks as you normally do. Once we have the re-branded checks available, we will let our members know.
